Founded in December 1982 along the banks of the Agusan River in Butuan City, Orgon began as a small sawmill operation with only two bandsaw units. From these humble beginnings, with hard work and deteremination Orgon grew to become a trusted leader in the wood manufacturing industry.  

The name Orgon reflects the legacy of its founders, combining the surnames Oraiz and Gonzaga. Orgon from its very beginnings has always had family at its heart. What started with manufacturing shell crates for Pepsi Cola soon expanded into larger contracts with DOLE Philippines and San Miguel. The company later became a key supplier of wooden pallets and cases for major beverage and agricultural brands including Cosmos, RC Cola, Asia Brewery, Chiquita, Lapanday, and Marsman Drysdale Agri Ventures.

By 1997, Orgon’s reputation for quality and customer satisfaction helped it to grow its clientele. Building on this momentum coupled with years of knowledge and experience in wood manufacturing allowed us to tarnsition into veneer production in 2005. Encouraged by the success we had with the veneer product line, Orgon further expanded into full plywood production in 2015.

Today, Orgon Wood Industries, Inc. is recognized as one of the leading companies in the Philippines plywood industry, known for its high quality products, decades of expertise in wood processing, and its commitment to excellence and integrity.
